Transmission, openatv 7.1

Transmission is an external plugin, not oATV directly supported. For the naming of the plugin allways conflicts with the standards, it is not seen in the feed. In oATV6.4 there is an adapted version, but only for Python2.
For Python3, the version is propably not yet adapted.

I did everything according to the description but it always freezes!

Where do see an error or how do you detect a freeze?
Can you reach the WebIF of the plugin?

I use Ultimo 4K openatv 7.1. It doesn't work stably for me. It always freezes. Is there a way to keep it from freezing?

I am facing the same issue on different box.
Clean image: openatv-7.1-hitube4k-20220909_usb.zip

Cleared browser's cache as there was some trouble with the web interface, as some components were cached from Transmission 2.94 present on my previous image OpenATV 6.4 from mid-2020.
After a minute or so, servers stops responding. First the AJAX interface sends error about losing connection to RPC, browser reload is unsuccessful after this point.
Transmission daemon has crashed and been shut down completely after this point.

OpenWebIf is not affected and runs still.

the same scenario follows. AJAX Web interface starts-up, daemon works, within a minute = sudden crash.
Transmission Remote app for Android loses connection as well.

So I've added logging parameter to the init.d script

Okay, I've extraced my OpenATV 6.4 backup and copied over "transmission-daemon" located in "/usr/bin".
Kind of dirty solution, but Transmission 2.94 simply works @ OpenATV7.1, even with the web files ("/usr/share/transmission") and other stuff intended for Transmission 3.0.

Please, urge developers to either rebase Transmission package to the latest master branch: GitHub - transmission/transmission: Official Transmission BitTorrent client repository
Or return to 2.94 release and publish it to the OpenATV repository.

Transmission client is written in C++ and has nothing to do with Python, and so any "adaptation to Python 3" makes no sense here.

Von welchem Port sprichst du?
OpenWebIF Port 9091?
Der wird in /etc/default/transmission-daemon definiert (wie auch die Zugangsdaten). Nach Änderungen Box neu starten.
Download Ports?
Dazu steht etwas im WebIF von Transmission in den Preferences (Schraubenschlüssel).
