Nein, auf der octagon sf8008 ab 7.6beta (clean install) nicht mehr
da gibt es nur noch einen automatischen reboot

Das die Box, nach clean-Install und evtl Rückspielen der Einstellungen, neu startet, ist doch vollkommen normal und auch so gewollt.
Nach online Update, wirst Du gefragt.

Aber scheint ja nicht so zu sein

dann beschreibe lieber erstmal ganz genau, was du meinst, und wie du vorgehst, damit das jemand Schritt für Schritt nachvollziehen kann.
Du schreibst was von auto reboot nach update/install.
Was für ein Update?
Was für ein install?
Das ist etwas dünn.
Wie geflasht?
In welchen Slot?
Aus welchem laufenden Image - oder per USB?
Waren andere Datenträger noch an der Box? Denn dann muß ein USB-Flash kein Clean-Flash bleiben, weil wegen der Steuerdateien in /media/hdd/images/config eine entspreched hnterlegte Restore-Aktion ausgeführt wird . . .
Zuletzt geändert von Papi2000 am 29 Mai 2025 15:20, insgesamt 2-mal geändert.
Grund: Typo, Ergänzungen

Hi,
Nach letzte vier updates nicht möglich vom Receiver streamen,oder OpenWebif benutzen.
Wird das Receiver von standby aufgerufen,starten mit. Warum ???. Dann stürzt ab, bluescreen.!!
Letzte gute update wahr 22.05.2025 !Alles ist Ordnung wahren,
wie das ich vorher haben gemeldet.

Zum x-ten Mal:
sauberer flash in Slot 1 aus dem Slot 3 mit 7.6 alpha.
Netzwerk, LAN geht sofort.(will kein W-Lan)
Beide Tuner konfiguriert und Senderliste per DreamboxEdit aufgespielt.
USB Platte wird automatisch richtig "eingehängt" Einhängepunkt media/hdd
Cihelper instalier und für SKY und NC+ konfiguriert, Alles läuft
Boxpiretes Cam Manager (Für HD+) instaliiert, und geht.
Bei den beschriebenen Schritten die GUI öfters neu gestartet alles OK
Dann:
Herunterfahren Box hängt.....nur Schalter hilft
Neustart Box hängt... nur Schalter
Multiboot Box hängt.... nur Schalter
Nach dem Kaltstart (Schalter) kein Netzwerk, kein Einhängepunkt für die USB Platte,
Habe jetzt Platte manuel eingehängt um Log auf Platte zu schrelben. jetzt fährt die Box runter????
Neustart: kein Netzwerk kein Einhängepunkt für Platte, kein log....
Neustart zum Slot 3 Box hängt.... Schalter hilft.
Neustart aus Slot 3 alles OK aber au der Platte kein Log.
Neustar zum Slot 1 aus dem Multiboot , kein Netzwerk(LAN) kein Einhängepunkt für die Platte.
Netzwerk neu gestartet (Nach mehreren Versuchen) Meldung in Filezila:
Verbinde mit 192.168.178.41:21...
Status: Verbindung hergestellt, warte auf Willkommensnachricht...
Antwort: 500 OOPS: vsftpd: not found: directory given in 'secure_chroot_dir':/var/run/vsftpd/empty
Fehler: Kritischer Fehler: Herstellen der Verbindung zum Server fehlgeschlagen

Ftp mit Puty geht nich
Was kann ich tun um wenigstens das Log zu bekommen.

Die Version 7.6 Alpha im Slot 3 funzt prima ...

Dann lasse den CAMManager weg. Denn danach treten deine Probleme auf. Die sind doch aber nicht Thema hier im Form.
Und die Festplatte immer schön fest einhängen.

Hallo Papi2000,
Der Cammanager ist auch in der Alpha Version drin und da geht alles. Also sollte hier auch gehen.
Habe nun einpaar Logs über die Alpha auf die Unterverzeichnisse des Mooltiboot der Beta gefunden, kann sich jemand dies anschauen??

im Grafischen EPG funktioniert die Zeithistorie nicht.
Obwohl auf 60min. eingestellt, werden keine vergangenen Sendungen angezeigt.

Deine Vemutung war richtig, Der CamManager war der Schuldige.
Habe nochmal Versuche unternommen und sobald ich den CAM Manager per Putty instalierte ging der Rest in die Hose.
Jetz muß ich einen neuen Weg für meine HD+ Karte finden

Das Problem das die Octagon sf8008 bei update/install selbstständig rebootet (#42) ist nun behoben.

Seit update von heute funktioniert HDMI CEC nicht mehr mit meinem Philips TV
TV in standby versetzten
TV aus standby aufwachen
funzelt nicht (mehr)

HDMI im stromlosen Zustand der Box schon kurzfristig getrennt, um 100% RESET plus neuen Resync zu erzwingen? Das kann bei manchen Datei Tauschvorgängen notwenig sein, und lässt sich nicht vermeiden.
