I've just setup openATV on my old Beyonwiz T3. Everything going well bar I can't setup the IceTV plugin. After installing then trying to run the setup wizard. When trying to enter the username the box reports a crash. I've attached the last crash log.

Re: IceTV Plugin Crash During Setup Wizard
As I'm new to the openATV I take it this would be when a new firmware image is released for either USB install download or via the online firmware update from within openATV? Is there a schedule when these get released? The current images for the T series are dated 3 to 4 days apart and I see that the V2 & U4 now have some images dated 20241001 so I take it that the T series will get some dated the same once the builds are complete by the build servers automated process?
Re: IceTV Plugin Crash During Setup Wizard
Hi Rockets,
OpenATV has a continuous build process. As changes are added to the system the firmware is built soon after. At the moment I believe that every receiver should have its firmware built about once every two to three days.
On OpenATV all you should need to do for updates is go to "MENU > Setup > Software Management > Software Update" and if there are updates available they will be offered to you. Just install the update and allow your receiver to reboot and you should be done. You do not need to reload your settings and/or plugins, it should just update and be complete.
The only time you need to do a reflash is when there is a major version number jump. For example, OpenATV 7.4 is the current firmware serries but 7.5 is due to be released soon. When 7.5 comes out you will need to use "MENU > Setup > Software Management > Flash Online" to do a more significant upgrade. Here too, the system should be able to backup all your settings and plugins to rebuild your system after the update. The days of USB updates wiping everything out so you need to start from scratch should be mostly behind you.

Re: IceTV Plugin Crash During Setup Wizard
Updates were available on Wednesday evening. After a reboot the IceTV plugin is working properly. Took a few minutes for the EPG data to populate after it being downloaded. Otherwise everything I tested worked.
