Hauppauge Dual Tuner USB support

Hi All
I’ve loaded up OpenATV on my V2 to have a play around and I thought I’d try out my Hauppauge Dual Tuner USB.
Now I know on the Beyonwiz image you needed the earlier model for it to work, but these are no longer available so the one I have is for use on a MCE Laptop.
So anyway, on OpenATV it only working as one Tuner.
The Model I have is 204209 LF Rev C316
Anyone know if there are later drivers I could use on this image?

Hi Garry,

I would have thought that if the PVR saw one tuner it would see both. I need to speak to the hardware guys to see if they have any more information.

I am also having issues with some of my tuners but the issue is that the cold boot perfectly but they disappear on a restart. We have tracked this down to a device firmware load issue. This has turned out to be a terribly difficult fault to debug but I am hoping we will make more progress soon. I raise this issue here as, for all I know, the problems *might* be related. I am having issues with a Bluey and a Sony PlayTV dual tuner.

I will update the thread when I know more.

My T4 and T3 do most of the "real" recordings but if one of them turns up it's toes then having 4 Tuners on the V2 would be handy.

Hi Garry,

I have a V2 that was purchased with the Hauppauge dual tuner that Beyonwiz supplied. Not sure if there is typo in the ID. This one is marked 204109 LF Rev216. The front is marked WinTV-dualHD. It is running fine on the V2 with the Driver Package CT2-dvb-usb-dualHD, found near the top of the list of drivers found in the Plugin Browser. The V2 runs fine recording 4 different HD LCNs.

I figured that the one from Beyonwiz would work, lets hope those in the know will find a solution.
