EPG Grid Layout

Hi all,

Just joined this forum, been a long-time BW user over at the defunct BW forum.

I am in two minds about making the jump from the BW firmware over to OpenATV, after all, the BW f/w as-is does it's job.

One thing that really does get my goat with the BW f/w though is the EPG grid layout. If there are 2 consecutive shows overlapping time-wise, the earlier program becomes blank in the EPG and you cannot move the cursor/hilite over it. Really annoying. I am using the OverlayHD skin, but I think the problem may have been with the default skin as well.

Is this a problem in OpenATV (or its skins) as well?

Hi Steve,

Welcome.

Are you referring to an event that is still shown in the grid even though it is completed its entry becomes blank and not selectable? If so, then on OpenATV you go to "MENU > Setup > EPG > EPG Settings" and then find the "Keep EPG history (in minutes) to a value representing the history you want to keep. You can keep up to 24 hours of EPG history.
