EPG-Refresh on Beyonwiz

I have spent some time trying to get the EPG Refresh plugin working on a V2 and T4. This is the setup that worked for me.

Go to menu > Plugin Browser and then using Instal find EPGRefresh and add it.

Menu > Setup > System > Time and set time synchronization to Transponder time. (EPG Refresh does not work with NTP time.)

Next open EPG-Refresh press the Blue button and using left/right buttons select Bouquets then press the Blue button again (Refresh Using) and select the TV Favorites you want to scan. Press Green for OK.

Select Refresh EPG using 'Fake Recording'

Set up the start stop times and enable EPG-Refresh.

Hi Tony,

Why do you say the EPGRefresh doesn't work with NTP time? That is exactly how I am using it.

Note that if your receiver is on when EPG refresh wants to run then you must set the "Force scan even if receiver is in use" to "Yes" or the scan won't happen.

Hi Ian,

I spent a long time trying to get EPG Refresh working. I used snippets from other threads to work out how to set it up. Each time I ran it I cleared the EPG cache, checked it was empty except for the LCN that was running at the time, then powered down. After it ran, I then checked the EPG. Only the above settings left the EPG filled. I do have the 'Force' setting as yes. Must be a case of YMMV.
