should I buy gigablue uhd quad 4K pro

I am in the process of buying new enigma2 box

I am in dilemma to buy the brand new 2024 GigaBlue UHD PRO
or go with 2020 VU+ duo SE4K

I am looking for powerful machine with high quality tuners

all inputs are welcome

GigaBlue UHD PRO is new and potentially driver issues (if found) can be fixed.
Vu+ is dead and Vu+ Duo4kse has some audio driver issues which will not be fixed, although some images have recently made C++ changes to try and overcome these issues.

... but Papi2000 is correct, your decision.

Meiner Meinung nach werden gemeldete Bugs überhaupt nicht intensiv gefixt.
Ich sehe nicht wirklich das Interesse vom Hersteller hier was zu tun.
Wenn man dort anruft wird man abgebügelt mit fadenscheinigen Ausreden.
Habe mir selber von der Box viel erhofft.
Sollte eigentlich die Stubenbox werden.
Aktuell habe ich sie ins Schlafzimmer verbannt.
Dient da rein zum normalen TV schauen.
Ich würde hier nicht speziell zum Kauf raten wollen.
Ist aber meine persönliche Meinung.

and we should try to live with it (as you did)

I just discovered that the GigaBlue UHD Pro Processor Architecture is 32-bit
vs Vu+ which is 64=bit



I think I will chose Vu+ (in spite it is old model 2020)
