We are excited to announce the release of our first official beta for the AI-Powered subtitle translation plugin under the openATV development, the plugin is now available for all devices supporting the development version.

If your model is listed, ensure you have the latest version of openATV 7.4 and run this command to enable the development version.

If your model is not listed yet, it will be available in the official image for all models supported by openATV once the beta version is confirmed. Everyone installing the feature for the first time will get a 15-day free trial to evaluate the service before deciding on a subscription, with no obligation, once the official release is ready, we will explain how to subscribe if you are interested in the feature.

This forum is dedicated to discussions, feedback, and support for openATV only. Please do notpost anything unrelated to this scope.


Here are some answers to common questions:

Why is it a paid feature?
The service requires hardware and software resources, which are not free.

When will it be available for all models?
After the beta is confirmed and all core issues are resolved, it will be available for all models supported by the official openATV release.

When will it be available for other images?
We are only discussing openATV in this forum, so no answers will be provided for this question.

Is this plugin compatible with other images?
No, this plugin will only work on openATV 7.4.1 and above. If installed on any other image, it will not function.

Can you add change font ?

the font comes from the skin, but there is a possibility to choose an alternative font in the image in the menu Skin selector, this font is e.g. for some languages where you do not see text or only dots or EPG does not show the letters

the fallback font is only used if the skin font does not recognize the utf-8 characters and is skin independent

There is a plugin for that called "EPG Translator" and works very well.
I think it's on the feed, and also it's free

HTTP request failed: Timeout was reached
I'm using the belarusian IP. Maybe, it's ban from infrastructure server side to IPs from Belarus?
I have checked the several belarusian IPs, the same error is presenting. When i'm trying to change IP, by WireGuard, for example, i don't see errors, but subtitles isn't translating also.

P.S. With VPN protocol everything is working, but not through WireGuard.

We don't apply any geolocation access restriction to our servers, it might be blocked by your ISP.

Good day.I assembled a home assembly for duo4kse and et11000.I added the missing files,gave access rights.And nothing happens,there is no translation.I changed the DNS and still there is no translation.I set the color to yellow to see when the lines of text will be translated.The color sometimes changes,but for some reason it doesn’t translate.
