Hi,

I have Dreambox 8000.Yesterday i tried to flash my dreambox with the latest openatv-7.4-dm8000-20240614_web.In the setup after i set the ip in the next step i press "EXIT WIZARD" and i get blue screen and some kind of python error and dreambox restarts.I can't attach the picture here.Tried to attach picture of the error many times,but without success,so i uploaded online and put the link.Please can anybody can help me.

Hallo,
nach öffnen diverser Videofiles kommt Bildsalat,
normaler TV Betrieb dann auch nicht mehr möglich,GUI restart hilft nicht man muss komplett neu starten.

Die files sind in Ordnung,daran kanns nicht liegen.

Auch schon 3 Skins durchprobiert und unnötige Addons entfernt,
passiert trotzdem wieder.

War relativ neu geflasht letzte Tage.

I have dm 8000,but user with vu plus also experience the same problem.If i remember correctly when i flashed my dreambox with firmware in the middle of may all was ok.Now with the last 2 firmwares there is a problem i can't use openatv image.I didn't understand much of logs,but i'll be happy if some of the expers here can help me to resolve that problem,because openatv is for me the best image.

Moin Zusammen,
nach dem Flashen, ohne Plugins und Wiederherstellen der Einstellungen werden in der Senderliste (alle) keine Picons angezeigt, weder in der Senderliste noch in der Info-Leiste und auch nicht im LCD.
Geht man Favoriten, dann werden die Picons überall angezeigt.
Skins sind MetrixHD und oe-a lcdskin-9.

Moin Zusammen,
Ich dachte ich hätte ein Workaround gefunden. Senderliste aufrufen und anschließend Senderliste aktualisieren drücken, danach waren die Picons wieder da. Nach Neustart der Box waren sie wieder verschwunden. Da ist irgendwas flüchtig.

Das Bouquet "Alle" hatte schon immer, und wird als Systemliste auch immer, ein besonderes, auch möglicherweise abweichendes Verhalten haben.

In den letzten 5 Jahren oder seit ich openatv habe, hatt sie immer gleiches Verhalten gezeigt und die picons angezeigt. Auch im LCD der Box und Infoleiste.

Und mit den Umbauten an Image, Bedienung und Skins änderte sich eben u.a. genau DAS Verhalten.
Da es noch nicht reproduzierbar ist, wird da sicherlich auch noch daran gearbeitet.
Und dein Speicherort HDD /usr/share/... Ist ziemlich Banane.
Hast du das Verzeichnis irgendwie in dein System gemountet?
Das ist hoffentlich keine mechanische HDD.

Deine Box hat doch genug Flash (Speicher) schieb die picons dahin, sonst wie @Papi2000 schon schrieb is das nicht so gut auf der HDD
die geht ja dann nie schlafen.

Die Picons werden mit piconupdater in besagtes Verzeichnis installiert. Alles Standard Einstellungen so wie vom Programmierer vorgegeben. Hättest du meinen ersten Post aufmerksam gelesen , dann wüsstest du welche Platte drin ist.
Kein Extramount.
Im übrigen habe ich ein sehr minimalistisches System, fast so wie ihr es rausgebt, ohne Altlasten.

Das ist KEIN von oATV angelegter Pfad. Wir haben noch NIE ein Image mit HDD /usr... rausgegeben.
Das Verzeichnis HDD /usr... solltest du schleunigst loswerden.
Am Besten so, wie du das dort angelegt hattest.
Solche "Sicherungen" durch User sind gefährlich und sollten unterbleiben.
Das ergibt instabile Systeme, wie du siehst.
Bis dahin bin ich raus.
