Can anyone tell me what settings should be used so that the timeshift does not remain in the recordings folder? This should not be the case.
No settings help.
Everything was fine for years, and now such a surprise.

These are the settings I have in 7.4.
The same as in 7.3, but in 7.4 all time shifts go to the general list of entries.
I did not restore the settings, I configured them again.

Ja nun. was erwartest du von den Einstellungen?
Du hast zwar aktiviere Timeshift nach 5s. Das sollte für normales Timeshift reichen.
Aber du hast auch Aktiviere Autoaufnahme.
Entscheide dich - entweder oder.
Die Autoaufnahme landet natürlich in /media/hdd/movie.
Timeshiftbuffer müßte in /media/hdd/timeshift landen.
Bei automatisch Timeshift und /oder Autoaufnahme bin ich aber eh raus.
Finde passende Einstellungen, die nicht doppelt laufen.

Hallo zusammen, und noch ein gutes Neues Jahr

Ich habe heute auf meiner VU+ Uno 4K SE das openatv-7.4-vuuno4kse-20250102_usb.zip online geflasht, aber leider habe ich danach kein Ton mehr ...
Hab schon wie in einigen Posts zuvor:

in /etc/enigma2/settings:

config.audio.volume=100
und
config.volumeControl.volume=100

Aber auch danach nach neustart kein Ton

Das gleiche Verhalten habe ich auch bei 7.5.1

Wenn ich wieder openATV 7.4.20240816 flashe alles gut.
Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte? Vielen Dank schonmal

Nicht selbst in die /etc/enigma2/settings eintragen, wenn man nicht weiß, wie genau.
Wenn man die Lauststärke-Tasten weitergeleitet hat, Taste GELB oder AUDIO, dort nach oben auf Lautstärke navigieren, und mit RECHTS die 100% eintragen.
Wenn nicht, kann man die Lautstärke ja nomal mit VOL+ auf 100% bringen.

In ein paar Tagen. Es müssen noch einige Fehler mit 7.5.1 beseitigt werden. Aber es kommt bei 7.4 nicht mehr viel.

I am experiencing an issue with OpenATV. After four years of using version 6.4, I decided to update to version 7.4. Everything I used before is working fine, except for an issue with the "epgimporter."

I can successfully download my data source, and the file is correctly saved at `/media/hdd/epg.dat` with the correct size and permissions. However, the EPG is not displayed on the receiver.

Here is the log:

The log shows that the `epg.dat` file is being read correctly, with 24,867 events loaded.

I am using version 1.0 of epgimporter:

There are error messages in the log related to the skin, but I’ve tested other skins besides "Metrix," and the problem persists.

It’s worth noting that everything worked perfectly in version 6.4 of OpenATV with the same data source, which rules out any issues with the source itself.

I am also using CoolTV Guide:

The opkg update && opkg upgrade procedure also had no effect.

What step might I be missing?

"CoolTV Guide" und "epgimporter" werden nicht länger supportet, weil sie von den Autoren nicht für aktuelle Python-Versionen weiterentwickelt wurden.

What do you mean epgimporter is no longer supported ? it works fine with latest python versions

OK. Dann muss wohl auf "Cool..." verzichtet werden, und auf ein aktuelles oATV7.5.1 umgeflasht werden? Ich setze beide Plugins nicht ein, und hatte nur gelesen, dass epgimporter ersetzt worden sei? Wenn nicht, umso besser für die, die es brauchen.

@Papi2000 Cooltvguide is not as important as epgimporter for me.
The version I am using is working correctly, downloading the databases, the only problem is that the epg.dat file does not load the events in the channels. Do you still believe that it is a version problem? If that were the case, would the application stop working completely?

Is this all channels or just some also if iptv then provider needs epg_id's and data for channels.
I actually had problems last night with sat channels some were empty I know I can select channel and it can pull epg from normal epg settings i.e. freesat or opentv epg

But everything was ok this morning and my mistake this was on openatv7.5.1
And I think if needed it would be updated for later python versions it is far to popular a plugin

I use the same source, and on version 6.4 everything works correctly, so I believe any issues with the source can be ruled out.
On version 7.4, I can download normally, and the 'epg.dat' file is built with the correct size and permissions, but it does not display in the channel list.

Where are you storing epg.dat file I store on usb then epg is available between all openatv images. Have you tried selecting clearing current epg before import in epgimporter just in case corrupt epg.dat file.

Füe CoolTV könnte man im VU forum den author fragen ob er auch eine Py3 version bereitstellen kann

@urie of course, I wouldn't come and post on the forum without first doing the basic procedures.
As I said before, the same source downloads the normal file and I can view the complete EPG in version 6.4, so the path and file are normal.
In 7.4, the same storage location and the same source are configured.

@Masta2002 I'll ask, but my biggest interest is to have epgimport working correctly in version 7.4, CoolTVGuide is just a bonus.
