There is in OpenATV a folder /data, a kind of local copy of the boot partition,
complete with information related to Multiboot ! and a file called bootconfig.txt
which can be edited to define the symbol "default" :
0 - means booting the image located in Slot 1
1 - means booting the image located in Slot 2 ... and so on!
If you edit this file and write there the index of the desired image, when reboot
from the menu, the GPT Boot activation sequence will choose that image! this
works exclusively in OpenATV where that's what Multiboot Manager menu
does! The "classic" images of the Multiboot type ... they don't know about this
communication trick! I 'll try to convince @Captain to make it public!
Still active DEV images ... OpenPLi , PurE2, Merlin even NewNigma could easy
adapt their reboot protocol to comply GPT Boot ! I've tested Egami Multiboot
as well Gutemine's Allan Turing ... in both cases exists a "host" image ! Egami
or NewNigma .,, where are taken the Multiboot management actions ! the rest
of images , those hosted in Multiboot are using Reboot as solution to give back
the control to the Host image or to activate from BootMenu another image !
Here hosted images can do more ! the hosted image can launch directly from
Multiboot choice ,,, the next image !!! without interaction with the ugly GPT Boot !!!

all openATV Multiboot source are Public no one has to convince me
[dreambox] meson64 first update for gpt support . openatv/enigma2@59b3750 . GitHub
flashmanager dream one/two use option -a to build kernel.img . openatv/enigma2@96e7758 . GitHub
MultiBootManager add support dream one/two sdcard . openatv/enigma2@df8e97f . GitHub
multivoot fix date for dreamos images . openatv/enigma2@409ab86 . GitHub
multiboot fix BSOD . openatv/enigma2@a28c922 . GitHub
egami, openpli, pure-e2, pkt will surely take over soon, dreamos image teams have no interest to support GPT so far, if this will change we will see.

Bootloader upgrade from BL103 to BL106 finally solved !
a router failure was the main issue ! Just read with max attention
@Captain messages and will work !
At this point you can load images into Multiboot thru Flash Online !
My recommendation is ... OpenPli ! will be enough to see the DreamOS
behavior ! and you'll be into a known and handy environment !

all went fine ! the Info panel shows FP1.15 but the Bootloader
is still BL103 !
Then

If your Bootloader is 1.6 , this is the latest ! you have nothing to change !
Mine was 1.3 and by mistake I did not follow @Captain instructions
step by step !
At this point you can load images into Multiboot via Flash Online !
My recommendations are ... OpenPLi 8xstars and an interesting
one here : https://mega.nz/file/jtdyxbKT#eE_y6nlcsH1tgkYH4A9WimW97BSx_DLa9ZG2JETyMew
None of the images are GPT implemented ! so ... at the reboot you'll
use the GPT Boot menu to go back to OpenATV !!!

I think there is something missing with my device
may be the device isn't gpt yet
I don't know
when I tired to flash online with dreamos image it just replaced the openatv and only the dreamos image works.
don't know what is missing
Captain hat geschrieben:have you update with lates openatv 7.3

yes I did and the bootloader is 1.6
I tried to upload screenshots but it fails
and also when I try to upload new firmware it doesn't show the gpt option like the pics you uploaded in the first page

This could happen only if you haven't use the "Flash online" option
from OpenATV menu !!! and you flashed a new DreamOS image
via Boot HTTP !!! Any other image , except OpenATV , does not
have GPT support ! so ...
- first image flashed via Boot HTTP must be OpenATV
pay attention at the boxes you are checking
- restart the fresh OATV and setup all
- then from its Menu at Flash Online , you can load in a different
slot then 1 !!! any of the listed images !
- from now on ... all the flashing will be from Menu
OpenATV is a "host" image !!!
