Blindscan not working

Hello,
I don't know if I can use English in this section but i have a problem with my Multibox. The blindscan doesn't seem to work. I tried many images with no luck. The only place blindscan seemed to work was Android. I've also tried the oldest openATV I was able to find which was 6.4 and I got a message "it seems manufacturer does not support blind scan for this tuner". My box uses AVL6862, i don't know if it varies between different multibox rebrands. Thanks in advance for any help.

After some research i found a thread on OpenPLi forums about Maxytec model of this STB. It has also no blindscan in this case. Thread is from 2019, I don't think much has changed. The only question remaining is why "it seems manufacturer does not support blind scan for this tuner" not showing on modern version of OpenATV. I can't exactly find any changelog or commit on github behind this.

If it is in the drivers fron the manufacturer, it is in the menu and it should word. There might be only driver fixes of at least less manufacturers at least in the past.

I do have an option for blind scan in the menu, however if I run it it will just stay doing nothing and after a few minutes i just get an information what no frequencies has been found. I peeked at logs during blindscan I just see this over and over again:

For dmmBlindscan better use a DreamOS-based and supported Image and Hardware.

So by that you mean that blindscan on this box is unsupported despite the option in the menu? dmmBlindscan is literally what's shipping with OpenATV image for this box.

Yes. Remember, that on YOUR BOX (which one) it might be untested, and blind built. If it's not runnng, it should be removed.

Well, for some reason OpenPli doesn't have blindscan option. That's possibly why. I might do a pull request on GitHub to remove blindscan support for it. It sucks becuase everything else about this box is great.
