Using Keyboard instead remote control unit

Hello everyone,

It's difficult to use the remote control unit to write internet addresses, so I connected a BT keyboard which allows me to navigate correctly, but every time I want to type text, the remote takes control and I have to type each letter with the keyboard of the RCU, it's very long.
Is there a solution?
