SWAP Manager

Hello, I created with this manager a 2GB SWAP on a USB 3.0 pen, it is activated, but apparently the system does not use it.

I checked with the command:

and got this response:

You showed the info, that your swapfile is used.
The usage will rise from 0, when it is demanded.

I watched for a longer time and the value did not change at all

The box has enough available RAM and doesn‘t need the additional swap.
Why should the box use the swap space as long as it is not necessary…?
Swap is much slower than RAM.
