Faulty serviceapp??

My setup:

Vu Uno 4kSE (connected to sat -channel server for Duo2)
Openatv 7.4

Vu Duo2 (client)
Openatv 7.4 -trying to install openatv 7.5.1

Feb 15 I wanted to try the new openatv version 7.5.1. I did a clean install on my Duo2 -installed Openatv 7.5.1. (version from 20250215).
Installed remotechannelstreamconverter to get acces to TV channels from my Vu Uno 4kSE.
Installed Xstreamity 4.80
Installed service app so I can set this to exteplayer3 (I use this setting along with quarterpounder to unlock streams in Xstreamity).
When I set service app to exteplayer3 and restart enigma,I lose access all TV channels from my Uno 4K SE. Bouquets are stil there but black screen on all Channels. It Seems like the exteplayer3 setting blocks out everything from the streamconverter.
I also tried the fallback remote receiver setup, but with the same result.
So Serviceapp needs some fixing imo. Going back to 7.4 as 7.5.1 does not work.
This is by the way not a problem in Openatv 7.4

I use RemoteChannelStreamConverter and the imported bouquets for very long times without any stress. No tricks needed.
Also my IPTV has no blockings, so i don't need the quaterpounder.
The exteplayer3 may have some issues, because if i test it in E2iPlayer this year, the streams do not stop at the end to return to the list, but stays forever at the end. I have to leave playback with EXIT. The serviceapp is installed, but with default settings, since i don't can use any other settings for standard streamings.
For me, you don't have a problem with the serviceapp at all, but in fact only with a broken exteplayer3. I cannot tell you, who can fix the exteplayer3. In E2iPlayer, at the moment the gstplayer is working well, replacing fully the exteplayer3. These changes took place already often montly in the past.

I have to use the exteplayer3 to unfreeze streams in Xstreamity (with Quartepounder)when they freeze. This has nothing to do with my IP provider. By the way, I use vpn.
So the exteplayer3 in serviceapp is faulty in openatv 7.5.1. then.
How do I update it -will it be fixed?

There might be some diffenerent versions out in the wild. One comes with depends of the E2iPlayer, another is taken as depend of serviceapp, one can be installed separately from the feed via console (should be the same as for serviceapp, and will not help you):

opkg remove exteplayer3 && opkg update && opkg install --force-reinstall exteplayer3 && shutdown -r 0

we only offer the results of the coding of the specific sources. So the coders should repair broken things in their software.
