After updating to OpenATV 7.4 today (02-oct-2024) I noticed that logarithmic volume adjustment is gone ? Whyyyyyy ?
It could have stayed there. It is good if at low volume e.g. at night, I can move the volume in smaller steps, but during the day, when using 30% and higher volume, it is good if the volume steps are larger. For example, at night and in the morning, a step of 3-5 points (percentage) is sufficient, but during the day it is better above 30% volume level, if the steps are 10 points (percentage).
Yes, I know... there is an option to hold down the button on the RCU for a short time, for a bigger step, but it's still annoying. It was more convenient when I pressed the Vol+ and Vol- buttons only once. No holding down the button and the like.
