Setting NFSv4 as defualt for NFS mounts?

Hello
I have an Octagon SF8008 running OpenATV 7.4. When I use mount manager to mount shares off my debian nas server ( NFSv=4) it defaults to nfsvers=3 and the mount will fail. I can edit auto.network or fstab and change to nfsvers=4 and mount is fine. I am just wondering which files you need to edit to change nfs mount default to NFSv4?
