EPG Export

Hallo,

Ich suche ein Möglichkeit mein Sat EPG aus der Enigma2 Box zu exportieren und als xml Datei zu speichern.
Momentan benutze ich das Plugin IPTV Server nur leider kommen nicht alle IPTV Apps mit der Datei klar.
Ich streame meistens von meiner Box zum Fire- oder Apple TV.
Kennt ihr da eine Lösung für?

This version actually doesn't work.
I recently used it in OATV 6.4

I hope that someone will be tempted and make a plugin mod for PY3.

Probably no one will fix the EPG Export plugin soon.

There is another plugin that allows you to export the EPG to an xm file or gz archive, it also offers to export the bouquet to an m3u file.
This is IPTV Remote v.1.0.9

I´ve tested this plugin but I dont know why the most IOS and Android Apps doesnt assign the channels to the m3u file vom IPTVSERVER Plugin.

Is anyone working on porting the EPG Export plugin to PY3?
A very useful plugin, it would be worth adapting it to the requirements of the current image on PY3

This is a patched version from @s3n0 and works on PY3 images.

Ich habe das Plugin nun mal überarbeitet und hier als Testversion angehängt. Bitte mal ordentlich quälen. Wenn alles OK, dann kommt das Plugin in die regulären Feeds!

Wie installiere ich diese Testversion?
1. Plugin regulär installieren (sollte das nicht schon geschehen sein) und danach sicherheitshalber einen GUI-Neustart durchführen
2. Die Dateien aus der ZIP-Datei auf die Box ins Verzeichnis '/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGExport' kopieren (mittels einem FTP-Programm, z.B. 'FileZilla')
3. GUI-Neustart ausführen
4. Fertig


I have now revised the plugin and attached here as a test version. Please torture times properly. If everything OK, then the plugin comes in the regular feeds!

How do I install this trial version?
1. install the plugin regularly (if not already done) and then perform a GUI-restart to be on the safe side.
2. copy the files from the ZIP file to the box in the directory '/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGExport' (using a FTP program, e.g. 'FileZilla')
3. perform a GUI-restart
4. finished[/I]

Even though everything works manually, the timer does not run.
I set it to hdd, tmp, etc. and no files appeared in the directories at the given time.

Can someone confirm whether the export creation timer works?

EPG is in RAM. It is only stored on media on shutdown.

@azman: I've fixed it and the export of EPG-data works now: 'epgexport.channels.xml', 'epgexport', and 'LastUpdate.txt'

select your preferred destination path: "/tmp/epgexport", "/data/epgexport", "/media/hdd/epgexport", "/media/usb/epgexport" or "/media/sdcard/epgexport" (if path is valid only, of course)

Please try this version and please give a feedback.

In your latest version, everything works fine.
I tested with the location /media/hdd/epgexport and the export was performed at the scheduled time.

Please give us some days to add this plugin in the GitHub-system of OE-Alliance and then it's "official".

As I can see (it's not my plugin), this is the durance for the next update for EPG-informations. I hope that this works well, but I can't be sure yet. Please verify this functionality!

Kann mir jemand erklären, wie ich dieses Plugin am besten einrichte? Ich verwende EPGImport zum Herunterladen der EPGs und möchte damit die EPGs in den von IPTV erstellten Ordner exportieren
