Okay, this time I have deactivated some functions that might be critical - or not. We will see....
When Testversion starts, you see IP-adress 'off.off.off.off' and in case of connection you see "'on.on.on.on'. The green button text will all the times show "connect". So don't wonder, thats just for test purposes. Let's see what send the box sleeping...
Thank you for testing!
Regards.....Mr.Servo

for the moment, I have no idea
Everything works fine (acc. Debuglog) and then box stopped. And this with a fresh installed OpenATV 7.3...
And when testcode#2 from post #102 (incl. 2 seconds waiting time for E2), what can this be?
Sorry, but I can proceed earliest on Friday morning...
Regards......Mr.Servo

The driver of your modem Is alrady in OpenATV and therefore the plugin can find & use it.
Therefore the communication between plugin and your modem (thats the job of the driver) works very well, as you can see in the debuglogs.
Here you can see the driver on your box:

The plugin checks if the driver is available or not and in case yes, the plugin will proceed.
For me it looks like, that there is a problem outside the plugin, because the plugin properly hand-out to E2 that promptly add a new adapter: '[Network] Add new interface: 'ppp0'.

I have now the same situation like you: a freezing box when dial-in. Thats good, because now I handle this issue on my own.![]()

I fixed the small bug but it won't help th solve the complete problem! With the new testversion I get now a connection to mobile network, but then box stops! Same behaviour as you've described.
I've tried it with two different USB-mobilemodems (both Huawei) and I 've got soo much different results that I realised: This not a software problem! Even communication with both modems was not all the time sucessful and system fails, when modem goes online. The process is arbitrary!
The problem is the lack of electrical power on USB-port of my box! At the latest when Huawei increases the power consumption (more antenna power), the system fails. One of my two Huawei-sticks even fails during communication with box before dialing-in.
So please try the modem with additional electrical power, means: Use an active USB-hub with own power supply.
Please try both testversions: First the 'SLOWER' version and in case its good, please test the "FASTER" one.
