Box 1:USTYM 4K PROI don't see any information about what I say in Polish yet, so maybe I will post something on the forum
I ordered the decoder from the official polish website of the distributor, i.e.
The package arrived to me within three days, which was the first pleasant surprise.
After tearing a large amount of bubble wrap hidden under a black stretch, my eyes showed such a box :
Elegantly branded, printed, with content specifications on the back.
In the box we find the instruction, HDMI cable, remote control and power supply. A disadvantage may be the lack of remote control batteries in this set.
Short throws on the tuner's manual and we already have a preliminary view of what we are dealing with
.
The tuner comes with OpenATV version 6.2 installed.
It's very easy to upload the latest OpenATV version 6.3.
What is very interesting to me is the fact that updates of this image are available very often.
I have the impression that the OpenATV team provides very good support for this decoder
Somewhere I came across a question about installed heads in tuner 4K. There was no answer, so please:
The decoder has 8 GB of internal FLASH memory and 1 GB of RAM. For me these are very good parameters thanks to which the decoder works quickly and surprisingly smoothly.
The tuner is managed by a Hisilicon 3798MV200 processor whose brother Hisilicon 3798CV200 sits in various powerful TV boxes like Egreat A8, HiMedia Q10 PRO
You must also check your processor for KODI support, which is available from the plugins:
As you can see in the screenshots below, the tuner is good at playing FullHD movies, the CPU usage is at a reasonable level:
Earlier I used RedEagle Twinbox, GI Xpeed LX2 and also Octagon SF8 (random order).
You can see how the technology went forward, because the current Ustym 4K is a speed demon for them and in my opinion the image quality beats the tuners on the head.
A few photos to compare the "dimensions" of Uclan Ustym 4K and the old Xpeed LX2..
The overall experience is very positive. The decoder is made carefully, we don't get the impression of using cheap plastic for its construction. The remote control is a known construction (I have the same with RE Twinbox), but made of better material. I am very happy with the change and I can honestly recommend it.
If you have any questions, write.
Summary:
+ dimensions and execution,
+ stable and fast in action,
+ does not overheat more than other equipment,
+ great image quality,
+ frequent updates from OpenATV,
+ attractive price
