script for installing plugins from HDD

hi @Pike_Bishop

have folder on HDD (images/ipk) and copied there 12 plugins (.ipk) but they are not installed during online flashing.

could you help creating script to installing 10 -15 plugins from HDD (connected to receiver)during or after flashing image, please

some plugins must be installed before other so the possibility of choosing the order of installing need it
if possible could also add in the script option for installing plugins from feed - scrip will be more universal

first I need a list which plugins (exactly full names) these are and in which order they have to be installed and also in which folder (complete path) they are located.

are you sure that are the complete infos which i need ?
i ask this because i can see in your list as example;
hdd/favorite_plugins - enigma2-plugin-extensions-streamlinkwrapper
but i need the complete name, maybe it's named enigma2-plugin-extensions-streamlinkwrapper.ipk
the best is you let me see the output from telnet/ssh command as follows;

next question -> what shall i do with that;
NewVirtualKeyboard.tar.gz
because this isn't a *.ipk package.
what is in this package (attach it here in your next post) and what shall i do with the content in it -> copy ? in which location ?

These plugins will be installing just once, after flashing new images. i think, FileCommander.
Could you also add PPanel.ipk from feed please?

if developer do update, plugin might stop working...
prefered installing plugin from HDD, plugin tested with ATV-image, and i know he work correctly.

Hi,

ok try this, it's for hotkey for now.
the script is named plugins_install.hidden.sh (do not rename it), put it on your box in the directory /usr/script
(if this directory doesn't exists create it first), and then make the script with telnet/ssh command as follows executable;

chmod 755 /usr/script/plugins_install.hidden.sh

lastly, do it via hotkey on a key of your choice -> ready !

now to test it i think it's the best you put the script also to your settings-backup, then create a new settings-backup and then flash new with restore your settings-backup.
after the flash is done, you can start the script via hotkey button.

if you start the script you can see a start message on your tv and if it's ready you can see also a message on your tv and also if no recordings are running it starts the e2-gui new
otherwise if recordings are running the e2-gui restart is always postponed by 10 minutes until no more recordings are running.

when the script has run through completely you have a logfile in /tmp it is named _plugins_install.log -> let me see it.
