I found the problem.

I began by symlinking the movie recordings from my "movie" folder into another folder "movie2".
Then with repeated tests I tried to open "movie2" in the EMC.

Since all my recordings use the enigma2 format I could symlink an entire year of recordings at a time.

ln -s "/media ...

... files (if any are available for removal).

From memory, these locales might return after a firmware flash such that this process will need to be repeated.

While off topic I will add that I was diverted from the remote control work to do an important task to do with the storage device mount ...

Now that I have stable openATV systems working on my two beyonwiz boxes, I found the following interesting boot up observations, repeated 10+ times.

Has anyone installed an openAtv 7.1 image since 22/09/2022 and can tell us if the repeated timer problem is fixed?

ich habe mal auf git ein Issue dazu aufgemacht, vielleicht wird es so schneller gefixt oder jemand stellt einen pull request dazu ein!?
