When you use PuTTy, you need to use an updated version ( for me Release 0.73 works fine).
You have choosen the right IP-adress? The password you set in the menue is simple four characters for the beginning?

... The SF8008 has an AV-Jack near the RS232 and SP/DIF port on the backside. This has to be a 3,5mm 4 pin connector. 1 for FBAS, one for each audio channel, and one pin is ground. The wiring must fit, and it should work - if the right TV standard is choosen. See the pictures: SF8008-1.jpg SF8008-2.jpg

I use oatv 6.3 with the froid Skin.
When I change to EMC, I cannot get the big Cover, although I have choosen it in the FroidSetup.

Channel Subtitles language are not automatically choosen when copy channel list from one box 920 to 9080. So 7080 or 500. Am using dreamset.

But DreamBoxEdit is the most reliable tool for doing that. Have you transfered the lsit from the box, changed, saved and then transfered back?
Or did you try to send something right from your pc to your box? Enigma2 for Profile was choosen in the software?

So, if the language is choosen, but only some entries still in english, means there is no translation. Nobody was found, to give the right translated entries. ... it possible to add this in the near future? Maybe you could add an option to a virtual channel and add real channels to it. When a virtual channel is choosen it chooses a tuner according to settings if the channel is not working/decoded it should swich to the alternative Hope someone can advise/help.
