Hi all, I have just replaced an ageing AMIKO ALIEN2 with a Dinobot 4K twin and everything is working well apart from viewing recorded programs.
The recording all appears to work OK but when displayed in Enhanced Movie Centre (EMC) the files are empty (0KB).

The files are being recorded to a USB3 ...

Come da topic non riesco a fare funzionare SAMBA usando la 6.4 del 30-07 su un Amiko Alien2 (2 tuner).

Ho provato un po' di tutto ma nulla.

Devo ritornare alla 6.3 ?

I have got OpenATV 6.3 running on an Amiko Alien2.

Every time I telnet in to the box I get the message:
"warning: setlocale: LC_ALL: cannot change locale (en_US.utf-8)"

I telnet into the image using Putty with the character set translation set to UTF-8 like this..

... interest. Is it possible to run a command from the command line that gives me the kernel config file directly from my own Zgemma H7S?

On an Amiko Alien2 I can do this:
zcat /proc/config.gz > /tmp/Kconfig
cat /tmp/Kconfig | grep "CONFIG_EFI_PARTITION"

On a Raspberry Pi Raspbian OS I can do ...

Ich möchte einen Remote-Channel-Stream-Konverter zwischen VU + (Server, Openatv) und Amiko Alien2 (Client, HDMU) verwenden, aber es funktioniert nicht mit Streaming.
Liegt das am VU + MIPS-Prozessor Amiko SH4?

I am trying to have a youtube plugin on an alien2 with openatv 6.1 image but i have try several plugins and all are giving blue screen when i am trying to open youtube.
Anybody have a solution?

Gestern aktivierte ich die TestBilder (Amiko Alien2+ Triple - OpenATV 6.1), und hier scheint ein Fehler versteckt zu sein. Die eingeblendete Uhrzeit ist ist mittig verschoben und gross dargestellt, wie alle anderen Bilder auch, siehe Anhang: Dropbox - Datei 2017. 07. 27. 7 14 27.jpeg

Kleine Rückmeldung:
Inzwischen laeuft Spark 1.2.83 neben OpenATV 6.1 sehr gut. OpenATV übetrifft Spark eigentlich in allen Bereichen, bin froh über die Unterstützung meiner Alien2+.

Just to say, there is a problem with Amiko Alien2 and 6.0 - it will not play / stream .TS IPTV files. It worked OK for 5.3.

However, 5.3 only work for Amiko Alien2 but NOT for Amiko Alien2+. I had Alien2+ working with IPTV on version up to 25/06/2016 but the Final ...

Can someone please help me with a download link for 5.3 for the Amiko Alien2. Version 6.0 no longer works with IPTV streams

I should point out that this worked perfectly in v5.3 so there obviously a missing module or encoding or ....

Ich habe auf der Alien2 mit Version 6, das Serviceapp installiert.

Der exteplayer und ffmpeg ist auch installiert. Box wurde neu gestartet.
Wenn ich jetzt im Serviceapp den oberen Eintrag von "original" umstellen will, dann crashed die Box, startet neu.
