Was not a bet ! it was a choice ! one of the very few
STB's where is still a lot to do ! for me the path matters !
I'm comfortable with the idea that some of the old boxes must

Would be really good if at least finish one build before moving on to another, 6.5 abandoned , 7.0 now final, 7.1 beta now 7.2. some developers thinking when plugins changed to python 3.xx for 6.5 then different python versions for 7.0 +++ some getting fed up to many changes.

What is the problem?

These are typical error messages of plugins, that are programmed for Python 2 that is abandoned. OpenATV 6.5 and 7.0 are using current Python 3. Alternatively use OpenATV 6.4 using Python 2.

Just for reference I have abandoned getting perl working with above modules and all dependencies, I instead leveraged a python rewrite of the script.
