Thema: e2m3u2bouquet plugin

Hi, we would really appreciate some help with an issue we are having using the
e2m3u2bouquet plugin.

This plugin is installed and can be used without any issues with the OpenVix image
but we are unable to use it with OpenATV - our preferred image.

The issue is, after manually installing the 0.6.3 version of the plugin which is a whole lot easier for us
to use, we add our details as required then select 'run' to update channels but at this point nothing happens at all.
All details entered are correct yet the update doesn't begin so no channels/bouquets for iptv are imported at all.

We install the 0.6.3 version as we have no knowledge of how to use the script in the new version which is available
in 'downloads/extensions' using Nightly Build 6.2 image..

It really would be so helpful if the 0.6.3 version could be made available as well as the latest version as it works
in a so much easier way to add provider details than the current version, if you do not have more 'expert' knowledge.

The receiver we use is an Xtrend 9200.

As i have mentioned, this plugin works without any issues in OpenVix but we really would like to use OpenATV if
we could get this plugin to work as this is the reason we have flashed to a new image.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have this Plugin in all my Receiver with ATV 6.2 Images,but no problems with it,I have first install and configured the 0.6.3 without problems,now it is the 0.7.4 Version(ATV Feed).

I do not know why i cannot use it.

I installed the Nightly Build 6.2 image from 19062018 and then installed the e2m3u2bouquet plugin version 0.6.3 successfully.

After setting up the plugin with my details i tried to 'Run' (yellow button) to import the channels but nothing happens.

No channels are imported, there is nothing and if i look in the EPG Import plugin sources i cannot see the provider in the list.

This problem does not happen with OpenVix - when i select 'Run' i have a list of channels created in the bouquet and also an option in
sources in EPG Import to select it.

I do not know how to use the new version 0.7.4 because i do not understand how to create a script and the 0.6.3 version
is very easy to use. It would be very nice to use OpenATV if possible with this plugin.

0.6.3 providers file is no longer maintained so links maybe out of date.

Latest version is fairly easy to setup. Add new provider by just giving it a name then you will have a generic config.xml in etc/enigma2/e2m3u2bouquet just change m3u url and EPG url then run the plugin.

Jepp,0.6.3 is very easy to configure it,but i don´t understand,why you have problems with ATV / 0.6.3 too,here all ok with it.

That maybe the case for you if you're provider hasn't changed url. With older version it uses a providers file but when a provider changes link old will still be in the original providers file. Sorry if I'm braking any rules discussing this.

You can also check log via the plugin for errors that may help

but this version of the plugin works perfectly using OpenVIX so i don't think it would be because it is an old version,

I cannot understand why i cannot 'Run' and import successfully with this image which i really would like to use.

I don't know how to use the new latest version available in Downloads. I don't know how to add a provider by just 'giving it a name',
It sounds easy but i am not familiar at all with this option that is why it is easier for me using 0.6.3 but don't want to stay with OpenVix.

I tried again yesterday to see if i could get this plugin to work by flashing the latest 6.1 image but again nothing.
Then i flashed a previous 6.1 backup from a few months ago but still nothing. So, that's both 6.1 and 6.2 that don't
work for me.

Whilst the plugin installs successfully, when i enter my details and then select 'Run' for the 'update of channels' absolutely
nothing happens - no import at all and the provider option is not in EPG import either.

I just don't understand why the plugin does not work or us on the OpenATV images whereas it works perfectly with OpenVIX.

I'm gutted as i really wanted to keep OpenATV.

Have you tried logs option?

Press menu on the plugin then show log, do you see anything obvious?

Yes, i tried that but the only information it gave me was blah blah 'executed' for everything - nothing at all obvious that could identify an issue
it just confirmed the action(s) i had executed.
