Thema: i have a question to the total ram of my formuler F1

hello all
i just have a question about my formuler f1
as the manufacter said the ram of this device is 1gb but in the information section the total ram is 314 mb !!!!
plz any one can explain to me what's the problem here.

My Box has 1GB too but it shows Total ram: 873.160kB Free 580.000kB
Total 314 mb is poor can't belive.

No problem at all. Not the complete RAM on the chip is userspace. You only see the userspace, and should place an usb-key top the Box, formatted in ext4, and add some Swap with the size 128MB via the menu of the box. Just look with BLUE, and navigate through the topics.

thank you for your reply but i think it's not normal at all I haven't seen anything like this with other devices It should display all memory Total memory Used memory and Available memory.but with my case total memory is about 300 mb available memory about 120 mb it's desaster when using heavy skins for axample.i think The fact that this device is 512mb ram not 1gb.
for swap I am currently using this option But I don't see any difference in performance.nothing can replace the original ram.

any idea .....solution..
