One thing that bothers me as a skinner in both EPG screens and channelselection screens is that the all the icons have fixed sizes. This is very limiting to skinners as they are forced to create icons in these sizes only and sometimes they don't look good on their skins. If you dare to use any other size you end up with cut-off graphics.
Why not introducing configurable values, since the custom icons are allowed after all?
For example something like iconheight, iconwidth etc.
Otherwise I don't understand the use of custom icons!

you are right, but for compatibility to epg-plugins (e.g. epgsearch) is the icon position and size hard coded. i think it's need a lot of changes for identical look.

you can using another icons, just the size is limited.

All these could change with the addition of iconsize parameters. Or at least hardcode bigger icons sizes. If you change the value from i.e. 21 to 50 and remove BT_SCALE, then all icons that are already smaller will appear normally as they are, but a skinner will be allowed to use bigger icons up to 50px which is very very good for FHD skins.
It's simply a small change in two parts!

EPG fix should also be fixed in 6.1 branch.
