    Lieber kein Update machen!
    Wenn du es unbedingt ausprobieren willst, dann mach ein Komplettbackup und bereite es so vor, dass es schon auf einen USB Stick bereit liegt, wenn die Box nicht mehr bootet.

    Wie gesagt, der eigentliche Übeltäter ist opkg.
    Den Fix dafür gibt es seit 19.9., aber nur per Flash, nicht per Online-Update.
    Bei busybox von April kann opkg kaum wesentlich jünger sein.

    Also Quadbox ist auch jetzt noch nicht durch.
    Und leider scheint es, als enthalten ein paar Images sogar immer noch den opkg ohne Fix ...

    Captain, falls Du das liest:
    Es wäre optimal - sofern möglich - wenn Du mal bitte in allen Images opkg "resetten" könntest, so dass der auf jeden Fall neu gebaut wird.

    also alle images sind da , das neu Flash kann also seit heute immer gemacht werden

    ein Online Update der Einzel Pakete wenn man ein altes Images hat geht aber dadurch immer noch in die Hose, darum bleibt der Feed Gelb, denke wird so min 1 Woche so bleiben , da ja nicht alle User das
    am Tag 1 auch lesen so werden sie halt Informiert vor dem Update an der Box.

    Dann ich bin wohl selber mit meinen ssh-ipkg-Updates auch in diesen Fehler gelaufen. Mich wundert aber gerade, dass ich nur das Image vom 5.12. für meinen optimuss os2+ wieder rebootfähig geflasht bekomme, Alle neuen Images starten kein enigma2 beim Reboot und es gibt auch kein Log.

    Wechseln des Runlevels per ssh 3=>5=>3 startet dann auch enigma2, aber das kann ich meiner Frau nicht beibringen :-)

    busybox - 1.24.1-r0.31 ist jetzt bei diesem Image installiert.

    Der technische Hintergrund ist der:

    Bis OpenATV 4.2 ging opkg immer einwandfrei, auch für Updates von busybox (Der alte opkg 0.2.x hat prerm- und postrm-Scripts in Installationen nie ausgeführt, also konnten sie auch nicht fehlschlagen).

    Ab OpenATV 5.0 hatten wir einen neueren opkg, der die prerm- und postrm-Scripts bei Installationen immer ausgeführt hat und die melden bei busybox-Paketen prinzipbedingt immer einen Fehlschlag, danach hat opkg dann gar nicht erst weiter installiert.
    Der lange Block mit "update-alternatives: Linking $BLAH to /bin/busybox.nosuid" kam damit nie zur Ausführung und damit waren nach jedem busybox-Update alle Standardbefehle wie ls, cp, mv von der Box verschwunden und die Box tot.
    Und genau das passiert mit dem aktuellen Update auch noch, wenn der opkg immer noch der aus OpenATV 5.0 - 5.3 Stand 18.9.2016 ist.

    Seit dem 19.9. verhält sich opkg aber so wie oben im Log gezeigt und überspringt für busybox-Pakete die prerm- und postrm-Scripts wieder, so daß auch busybox-Updates wieder gehen:

    Dummerweise gibt es aber noch ein zweites Paket, das opkg nicht updaten konnte, und das ist er selber, das opkg-Update konnte also nur durch Neuflashen verteilt werden und nicht in Online-Updates.

    Daher auch die Situation, daß nach dem 19.9. neu geflashte Boxen das Busybox-Update überleben und die davor geflashten nicht.
