    Es gibt ja auch zweimal Auth.Einstellung. Das hatte mich anfangs auch immer verwirrt. Einmal Auth. für WebIF, und einmal für Streaming per HTTP. Da ich Streaming nur sporadisch anwerfe, und dann auch nur intern, habe ich das Auth. nie verwendet.
    Streaming extern war und ist für die meisten aufgrund geringem Uploads auch nie relevant gewesen.

    Deshalb hat OpenPLi ja auch per ordre de mufti entschieden, daß Features die MiLo und pieterg nicht brauchen, ruhig fehlerhaft bleiben dürfen, so z.B. Streaming Auth.
    Auch die Argumentation, daß man Streaming Auth z.B. wegen der Kinder im Haus haben möchte, interessieren die nicht.

    Inzwischen sieht die Sache aber wegen Transcoding anders aus.
    Transcoding macht man ja nicht, weil man im heimischen WLAN so schlechte Übertragungsraten hinkriegt, sondern weil man damit auch mit 5 MBit/s Upstream was reißen kann ... und dann wird Auth doch wieder wichtig.
    Ist denen aber egal ...

    Die Herrschaften mögen technisch begabte Programmierer sein, aber was sie programmieren reitet uns nur immer in die Scheiße rein.
    Es geht da nur darum "weil ich es kann", nicht "weil es sinnvoll ist".

    Jetzt haben sie z.B. eine zweite HDMI-CEC-API eingebaut.
    Theoretisch ganz toll, weil die eigentliche API im Linux-Kernel steckt.

    Aber es wäre nicht OpenPLi. gäbe es da nicht ein riesiges ABER:
    ABER nur in Linux 4.8.x und höher.

    D.h. in der Theorie toll, in der Praxis werden sich die Devs demnächst noch weniger um die unzähligen alten Fehler kümmern, weil sie nun zwei APIs synchron halten müssen.
    Wir bauen nämlich auch für zig Boxen, die keinen Kernel 4.8.x haben und wohl auch nie mehr kriegen werden.

    Also freut Euch schonmal auf Meldungen "Box A macht bei HDMI-CEC das, Box B aber das...".

    Dieses Mal schlägt der Login-Bug wieder zu, nach 6maliger Eingabe der Anmeldedaten habe ich aufgehört zu zählen ...
    Von diesem - unerträglichen - Bug mal abgesehen kann ich aber trotz Blockierens eines Tuners beliebig streamen.

    Transcoding geht gar nicht und aufgrund der Fehlermeldung im Log:

    Fazit soweit:

    Das streamproxy / transstreamproxy funktioniert eigentlich am besten:
    - Der Login erfolgt über's Webif und damit erfolgen auch die Einstellungen für Auth an nur einem Ort (Beim Webif)
    - Auth profitiert von erweiterten Einstellungen im OWIF, z.B. root-Logins zu verbieten
    - Der Login klappt immer beim ersten Mal und nicht erst beim 7. oder 8.

    Der einzige Haken sind die hängenden Tuner (Bis zur nächsten Aufnahme), aber das muß ja eh behoben werden, weil Vu+ und Dags für Transcoding genau diesen Mechanismus verwenden (Aus gutem Grund, wie man sieht).
    Wie man bei den funktionierenden und den Tuner befreienden Aufnahmen sieht, weiß E2 eigentlich auch, daß der Tuner gar nicht belegt ist.


    Das interne Streaming leidet nach wie vor daran, zu blöd zu sein, basic auth beim ersten Versuch zu akzeptieren.
    Dafür hat es zwar den Vorteil, den Tuner fast sofort wieder freizugeben, aber was nutzt mir das, wenn ich Streaming wegen Auth-Problemen eh kaum nutzen kann?
    Media-Player auf dem Smartphone sind leider nicht so geduldig wie vlc und zeigen den Anmeldedialog immer und immer wieder an ...


    Also kann man resümieren, daß wir drei Bugs haben:

    1. internes Transcoding geht derzeit wegen decoder: use audio only on primary decoder if external pip mode not u… * openatv/enigma2@8cc2972 * GitHub gar nicht
    2. Bei streamproxy-Streaming und Vu+/Dags-Transcoding wird der Tuner von E2 erst beim Eintreten eines weiteren RECORD events befreit
    3. 'Basic auth' im E2-streaming/Multitranscoding ist eine Zumutung

    Lösungsvorschläge:
    1. Revert bzw. test change decoder audio issue only solo4k * openatv/enigma2@28ace34 * GitHub
    2. Das sollte betacentauri doch hinkriegen, oder?
    Nach "opkg install streamproxy" und Neustart kann er das Vu+/Dags-Transcoding auch auf jeder beliebigen Box durch Streaming reproduzieren.
    3. Vielleicht reicht es ja, den kümmerlichen Versuch 'basic auth' selber zu erledigen aus E2 wieder zu entfernen und durch den entsprechenden "Ans (O)WIF weiterreichen"-Code aus dem originalen Streamproxy ersetzen?

    Natürlich kann man bei 3. auch versuchen, basic auth an sich zu reparieren, aber wie gesagt sehe ich keinerlei Vorteil darin, das in E2 erledigen zu lassen:
    Das OWIF kann hier einfach mehr, man hat alle Settings für Web-Auth an nur einem Ort und OWIF kann weitere Mechanismen implementieren (z.B. auch multiple logins, wegen Kindersicherung).

    Ansonsten adenin oder einen der anderen Cracks.

    Ich kann was in diesem unseligen Python hacken, wobei Python und ich da immer erst unterschiedlicher Meinung sind, aber Perl stimmt mir zu.

    Für dieses Problem brauchen wir aber jemanden, der mit Python und C++ eher auf einer Wellenlänge ist.

    Hab mir das nochmal angeschaut. Brauche mal deine Expertenmeinung. Du kennst dich doch einigermassen mit TCP Connections aus.

    Also der Proxy baut eine Verbindung via IP4 zum WebIf/E2 auf. Ich sehe aber noch eine 2. IP6 Verbindung in die Rückrichtung:

    Ist das richtig so? Warum wird die Antwort von E2 nicht über die IP4 Verbindung zurückgesendet. TCP ist doch bidirektional.

    Wenn man jetzt das Transcoding stoppt, werden beide Verbindungen halb abgebaut:
