SF8008 Multiboot

Hallo,
ich wollte bei meiner sf8008 auch mal die multiboot Geschichte ausprobieren.
Die Box war gerade im deep standby, also habe ich eine 64GB SD Karte eingesteckt (eine kleinere hatte ich nicht parat) und dann die Box gestartet.
Im Neustart-Menü hatte ich danach die Option 'Multiboot-Auswahl'.
Wenn ich diese Option auswähle, bekomme ich den folgenden Bildschirm (der skin ist Kravenfhd):

Was kann ich da jetzt tun?
Eine Option zum initialisieren gibt es nicht und die gelbe Taste ist ohne Funktion.

Ich habe mal die Commits zum KravenFHD durchgeschehen, kann das Multiboot dort aber nicht finden.
Allerdings wird es bei dir schon richtig angezeigt.
Ist der Fehler auch mit Metrix-atv (GRÜN-MyMetrixLite-GRÜN-OK, und reboot)?
Oder fehlt da ein Mount einer Partition der SDCard (also doch eher massives Erkennungsproblem wie bei meiner Test-SDCard mit 256GB, die nur in einem einzigen Device bisher zum Laufen zu bringen war)?

Das Problem lag darin, dass ich die SD Karte nicht initialisiert hatte. Esmos hatte mich ja darauf hingewiesen. Ich hatte nur dummerweise immer das Menü der blauen Taste aufgerufen. Dort gibt es auch eine Software-Verwaltung, aber da gibt es den Multiboot Manager nicht.
Nach der Initialisierung hat alles prima geklappt.
Ich hatte gottseidank noch nie Erkennungsprobleme mit USB Sticks und SD Karten.

Die einzigen Punkte wären der abgeschnittene Text unten im KravenFHD skin (wie auf meinem letzten Screenshot zu sehen) und der Umstand, dass eine große SD Karte im multiboot Manager nur zum Teil partitioniert wird (eben nur für die multiboot slots).
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn der Rest der Karte automatisch auf ext4 partitioniert und formatiert würde.
Dann könnte man das als HDD oder ähnliches nutzen.
So wie es jetzt ist muss man das nachträglich von Hand machen.

dann könnte man schön aufs NAS aufnehmen ohne angeschlossene HDD.

Ich habe mir das nochmal angesehen. Der Multiboot-Manager schreibt beim initialisieren der SDCard immer eine msdos partitionstabelle auf die Karte.
Danach werden dort 4 primäre Partitionen angelegt.
Leider ist eine msdos partitionstabelle auf 4 primäre partitionen limitiert. Dahinter kann man nichts mehr anlegen.

Ich habe mal auf der SDCard eine GPT partitionstabelle angelegt und die 4 multiboot partitionen von Hand angelegt.
Damit hat multiboot erstmal funktioniert.
Dann habe ich eine weitere Partition mit ext4 Filesystem angelegt und als HDD gemountet.
Hat auch geklappt.

Eventuell sollte der Multiboot-Manager das auch mal können...

Unfortunately the SF8008 bootloader does not support GPT ... so you can flash the SDcard but on reboot the bootloader will not recognise the image.^

Yes, I recognised this problem.
If there is really a need to have an msdos partition table on the SDcard, why not creating logical partitions for the multiboot slots and another one for the rest of the card?
Might this work?
Or even less primary partitions and additional logical partition(s)?

Having multiboot and HDD on one SDCard seems to be very useful...
