Hallo,
habe hier einen Asus N66 abgn-Wlan-Adapter, den ich versuchsweise mit der Gigaquad testen möchte. Es handelt sich um einen N900-Dualband-Adapter, der also pro Band mit 450 Mbit/s verbinden kann. Unter Windows bringt das im 5Ghz-Band Durchsatzraten von 20 Mbyte/s (also etwa 170 Mbit/s). Das Teil hat einen Ralink 3573 eingebaut und es gibt auf der Treiber-CD auch Linux treiber, die aber noch kompiliert werden müssen.
Daher meine Frage: Gibt es irgendwo eine Anleitung, wie man für die GB-STBs einen Treiber kompilieren kann? Oder kann man irgendwo die Kernelsourcen erhalten, um der Anleitung zur Erstellung der Treiber (siehe unten) es selbst mit trial &error zu versuchen?
Oder wäre jemand hier in der Lage, aus den Sourcen ein Treiberpaket zu erstellen? Den Source für den Treiber, den ich am liebsten für Kernel 3.5.1, aber natürlich auch gern für die neueren Kernel haben wollen würde, gibt es hier, die Anleitung dazu

Teste mal Ich hab mal die Version Cross Compiliert für QUAD aber nur für Kernel 3.3.8 Aktuelles openATV Image 28.7 für 3.5.1 hab ich keine Build mehr !
wenn es geht Bau ich das mit ein für die Quad !

Installiere den Treiber boote neu
stecke dein wlan stick in die Box und mache mal per Telnet: dmesg mal schauen was da für Infos kommen.

Auch ein kopieren der /etc/Wireless/RT3573STA/RT3573STA.dat in /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA/RT2870STA.dat und rmmod/insmod brachte noch keinen Erfolg.
Hättest du noch eine Idee?

ich schau mal hatte rev 1 des Treibers genommen denke da fehlt der Eintrag ich Patch das mal rein compiliere noch mal neu

super Arbeit, Adapter wird jetzt erkannt, kann mich mit Router verbinden (bei 450 Mbit im 5 Ghz-Band) und habe mit ftp einen Datendurchsatz von ca. 10 Mbyte/s.
Und das allerbeste: Im vergleich zu meinem bisherigen WLAN-Adapter mit atheros-Chipsatz habe ich nun keinerlei Systemlast mehr durch den Filetransfer:
Hier ein Top während ein ftp mit 10 Mbyte/s läuft (da war der Atheros bei 50% Nic und heisgelaufen ist er dann auch noch)
