Tiviar Alpha+ up to date manual

    Hi,
I've just bought a Tiviar Alpha+ tripe tuner combo box and I'm trying to find an up to date manual for it. tiviar.com doesn't seem to exist anymore and any manuals I've come across on line bear little relation to my box.
I'm not sure what info is required to answer this query so I'll mention the following:
    Model: Tiviar Alpha+
    Chipset; 7356
    CPU: BCM7346B2 (1.3GHz)
    Cores: 2
    Version: 6
    Build: 0
    Kernel; 4.10.6
    Drivers: 2017-10-16
    GStreamer: GStreamer 1.11.2 (GIT)
    Python: 2.7.12
    Installed: 2017-10-17
    Last Update: 2017-10-15

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thank you
    Dermot

On google you can find a manual for the box, with connections and the basic operation:
    Google:
tiviar alpha+ plus triple tuner combo manual

A rudimental manual for oATV you can find there:
    Open ATV Handbuch

    and there:
    OE-Alliance Support Wiki

You gave the box-info, but did not supply the image-infos...

    Hello.

Usually you don't need a manual for Linux set-top boxes. All you need to know is how to flash the firmware into the appropriate set-top box (flashing procedures are different everywhere). The flash procedure, for your set-top box, is here: Tiviar Alpha Plus Switch from Fortis OS to Enigma2

Then, just look for the manual, just the operation of the specific firmware / graphics system - Enigma2, which you flashed into this set-top box. There are many Enigma2 distributions - OpenPLi, OpenHDF, OpenDroid, etc. ... and among them is also the popular OpenATV.

So what you need is probably the OpenATV / Enigma2 user manual.

But these GUIs are designed so that a manual is not needed. If you want to perform some complex service work in these Linux Enigma2 set-top boxes, then these Linux machines are very similar. For example, the ability to connect to and from a terminal / Shell to a set-top box is the same (for a terminal connection to a Linux Shell in a set-top box, a PuTTY application for Windows OS is usually used), but not the same Linux kernels exist everywhere ... but most "procedures" for different Linux set-top boxes should match (for example, a folder with stored channel lists is the same everywhere: "/etc/enigma2/userbouquet.*.tv").

So what you are looking for is a manual for working on Enigma2 graphics systems or a manual for working with Linux set-top boxes. Usually nothing exists either. It is a Linux platform. That means you find everything through Google ... but everything is chopped up into small pieces of information, everywhere on the internet.

For example, to manage user channel lists, Dreambox Edit (freeware) and E-Channelizer (commercial) apps are suitable ... both of them are intended for Windows OS.

I'm not happy about you, but managing Linux set-top boxes is not very simple and you need to know at least the basic knowledges with Linux systems.
