Thema: Web server as plugin?

It already exists in Enigma . It's called OpenWebif .

So you are not looking for a web server, but services of a specific type. For example, the apache server, as a running service / daemon, is basically a PHP web-server. Unfortunately, I don't know Wordpres.

I just wanted to point out that you're looking for something that has already been created. So you can look into the OpenWebif code and study it with customize or make your own web server according to the OpenWebif plugin.

Unfortunately, I am not a web developer. However, I plan to learn the Django (Python web design). Django (Python web) is currently more popular than Java.

Maybe the "Lightweight HTTP Daemon" would help you, which should be a light version of some web server in OpenATV. However, I have no experience with this, so I can not advise more:

Also keep in mind that the web server also has certain hardware requirements, such as enough free space of RAM. This means that if you search for this web server on old set-top boxes with a small amount of RAM, you will not find them there (on the OpenATV feed for a specific set-top box).
