Thema: Software update

Hello there

There's something I must be missing with the image software update option. I get the very same updates every single day although they're already installed. is this normal ??

I'm sure you've got your reasons but that's over productive so to speak. What's the point of showing there's an image update with exactly the same files from the previous day which supposedly are exactly the same as the ones you already have ?? I tend not to download anything at all for the sake of not having to reconfigure the whole lot on a daily basis. Why not just to add the latest commits which you might have implemented ??

They are the same files but new version. Even small changes sometimes changes a lot of files. If you don't have Problems you don't need to update each day. When you update usually your settings stay as they are.

yes but my metrix skin always reverts to the default colours and settings which is very time consuming to change on a daily basis. Anything you can do to avoid this ?

The Dev's won't change this in the moment, because to many things are changing each day.
