Venton hdx3 stuck on booting after deep standby - Openatv 4.0/3.0

Hello

The box often sticks on restarting after deep standby, no bootlogo, just "booting" on VFD.

This problem is common to both images versions, I should say it is more frequent under version 4.0.

Unfortunately no log is detected by putty or similar tools.

Can anybody experience the issue and investigate?

best is you set it to the one which comes with the image. I had a similar Problem and I could solve it with this way.

I have:
1. updated the image;
2. checked the code, which is exactly like yours (on the other hand, I don't know how to change it if necessary...).
I do hope the issue won't repeat. Will test again and report.

now you can change the file with any tool, I use WinSCP and EditPlus3. But you can also replace the file using ftp

Sorry to switch to another image, as the issue seems to be far from solution

The image for the Venton Box's (HD1, HD2, HD3 and HD 1 PLUS) is the same, I use a HD 1 PLUS and I don't have this kind of issue so far. Bad that you already switched to another image, maybe you give open atv 4.0 a second chance in the future.

The Vendor relased a new bootloader for your box maybe this would help. The bootloader update process is the same as the image flash, unzipp the file, copy it with ini folder on a USB Stick, put your USB Stick in the backside USB-Port of your box, start BOX Update begin, when ready COMPLETE should appear.
