I have the same problem but not sure if the root is the same...

Recently - last few days - my VU+ Solo 2 freezes sometimes. There are two tuners in this receiver. I have observed it occurs probably when a tuner is about to be released, e.g. right after a recording finishes (recording from a different transponder than is just used for watching TV, i. e. different tuner), or after closing a stream via PC - VLC player as well as an Android box.

I had installed an image from July 2020. When it started to occur, I tried to install a fresh image 20210101 but the problem had not disappeared. Then I tried to roll-back the previous image with factory default settings but it did not help too.

Next day after the one when I tried to do these practices, I tried the same scenario and it worked. Today it has occurred again
When I turned off one tuner (any), everything worked fine. Of course in that case there was not the state when a tuner is about to be released. It is used permanently, only switched between different transponders.

I suspected the problem may occur when the receiver is ON for couple of hours (12+) therefore I checked the system temperature, but it is max. 42°C.

Could you please help me? Wasn't the problem handled in this thread with the same symptoms?

"Frozen" in my case means the SSH/FTP is accessible and alive. Only Enigma and OpenWebif interfaces are frozen. When I try to reproduce the scenario on my PC, I open OpenWebif console in a browser. On TV a channel from one transponder is running. In OpenWebif I open a channel from a different transponder. It works in my VLC Player. When I close the VLC Player, a spinner is displayed in the left top corner on TV and OpenWebif is not accessible anymore.
