Hi.
Still don't have active debugging in OpenATV GUI-MENU ? Enable this feature in GUI-MENU and restart the Enigma. A debug-log file will be created in the "/home/root/logs" folder.
The OpenATV algorithm creates a detailed debug-log file, with lots of detailed information. You may find what you need there.
Alternatively, simply insert print('MYDEBUGLINE - value = %s' % value) into your python code for DEBUG purposes. Then you can find this "MYDEBUGLINE" in the created debug-log file.

Okay thank you. I know this and am already using it.
What to look for in the log file that indicates an error?
This problem is not typical, but it does happen sometimes.
It doesn’t cause much trouble because SKIN only works at the wrong size.
However, I am wondering the cause of this problem!
Figure 2 in my previous posts shows such an error. I also marked it in red and circled it.
Unfortunately, the log file at that time no longer exists.
The following SKIN: config.skin.primary_skin=MetrixHD/skin.MySkin.xml
It contains:
<output id="0">
<resolution xres="1280" yres="720" bpp="32" />
</output>
With this:
sizeX = getDesktop(0).size().width() -> 720
sizeY = getDesktop(0).size().height() -> 576
If I look at the log file there is no sign of an error.
Where do I look for the bug?
If there was any spelling or error in the SKIN xml file, would there be an error in the log file?
