    open atv problems remote control

    Hello, i am french and sorry for my english.

    When move the channel for my remote control (up or down) have problems and have blue screen, this problems happen this days only .

    What resolve this problems ?

    Bonjour, depuis pas longtemps quand j'appuye sur les touches haut et bas de la telecommande, j'ai un ecran bleu dessuite alors impossible de changer de chaine, comment regler le soucis ?

    Please also include the generated crash-log file from Enigma (by date related to your problem).

    Log directory is here: "/home/root/logs"

    If the crash-log file has not been generated, then it is necessary to turn on DEBUG in the GUI-MENU and reboot the Enigma. After the error, find the debug-log file in the above mentioned folder. Download the file to your PC (for example via an FTP connection) and then send it to the discussion forum.

    According to your crash-log the error seems to be in some "vti-addon-2.4-r20130216.5.1.0". I don't know why it's in the "...../tmp/....." sub-directory, but it's probably just a temporary test source code.

    Or the problem may to be in the wrong configuration, on the front dispaly panel (LCD), for scrolling / moving text - missing attribute or "vfd_scroll_speed" configuration item.

    I also noticed that you are using an alternative SKIN "Vali.HD.atlantis" and not a built-in "MetrixHD". Maybe this SKIN Vali is in trouble because it is trying to run the following render: "/Renderer/RollerCharLCDLong.py , line 81 , in moveTimerTextRun". And there is a non-existent attribute error in this "renderer".

    This is just my quick estimate of the possible cause of the problem, because I'm not a developer of the OpenATV team.

    You can try switching the SKIN back to the built-in MetrixHD to see if this solves the problem. Or try changing the text scroll settings, under the LCD display configuration (in the OpenATV GUI-MENU). If that doesn't help, then only someone from the OpenATV team has to give you advice.
