Problems updating

Hi guys,

I'm running openatv 6.4 on a vu+ solo4k and a gigablue quad plus. For the last week or so I have had package updates showing, it goes through the process on both boxes but then says 0 installed/upgraded on both receivers. Does anyone have any idea how to fix.

Hi, it is difficult to answer this question. OpenATV 6.4 is unfortunately only beta version (test version). Therefore, it may contain many errors.

The update server directory path may have changed. There may have been a momentary suspension of the development of version 6.4 for your device because of some boot BUG version 6.4, and the major problem must first be resolved. There may be other causes. Please keep in mind that you are using the test version 6.4

All you can do is make a DebugLOG record and send it here to the OpenATV developers' team (if the developers are unaware of the problem). In the GUI-MENU, first enable DebugLog and then restart your device. Try to update the firmware and attach the latest LOG file created here for discussion. For OpenATV, you will find the debug-log file in the "/ home / root / logs" folder.
