Thanks. After removing this secret feed, installing the full version of the archiver went without a problem and the zip file with a full backup was created.
There was another problem for it, because in the backup zip file that was created there was no file named noforce, so you could not start uploading the backup from the pendrive to the receiver.
I solved this problem by copying the noforce file from previous backups, but it would be good to make the noforce file appear automatically in the newly created backups, as it was before.
Greetings and thanks again for help.
The "force" or "noforce" empty file just says what method to start flashing.
Normally, on most set-top boxes, you need to press a confirmation button for FLASH. This is for security reasons, for example, if you forget the USB memory key in the set top box with the firmware and if you accidentally reboot it, it will force the set-top box to flash again ! It is therefore better to use a USB flash key without force (with the need to press a confirmation button - depending on the type / brand of set-top box, which button on the front / side / rear panel).

Yes, but for example my Xpeed LX2 without this "noforce" file does not want to start flashing at all, it just treats the flash drive with a backup, as another drive connected to the receiver and starts booting the system, so it all depends on the specific receiver.
Golden Interstar USB Flashing Guides
Golden Interstar Xpeed Lx2 flashing manual:
Zitat:
Flashing the Receiver.
1) Power off the receiver
2) Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver
3) Insert the USB stick containing the image files in possible.
4) Power the receiver on.
5) When prompted via the receivers display, press the Volume Up button to start the flashing process.
6) If successful the receiver will reboot it self after the flashing process has completed.
7) Remove USB stick that contains the images files.
That's right, but if there is no "noforce" file on the pendrive with a backup copy, the receiver display will not ask you to press the Volume Up key to start flashing, but the receiver will start to load the image that has in its internal memory.
I checked it personally and that's why I wrote about it earlier.
I greet everyone here warmly because in Poland today the weather is cold and rainy :) .
Hmm... really no warning message ?
"PRESS ARROW UP TO UPGRADE" at position 00:48
Videotutorial: GI XPEED flashen - YouTube
I do exactly this procedure, which is visible on the video, to upload a backup image to the receiver, but if there is no "noforce" file on the pendrive, the display will not ask you to press the arrow to start the upgrade, so the file " noforce "for this receiver is necessary to restore the backup.
Perhaps other receivers do not require this file, but Xpeed LX2 requires it ( (at least the one I own).
Thanks for the tips.
Well, then you have a damaged or old CFE loader in your set-top box. I recommend the version of 11.02.2014, which users praise as smooth. Of course you can also try the newer version. But I recommend, if you don't have yet, the version 11.02.2014 (for 100% sure and working).
- CFE bootloaders you can found here, in the forum thread: https://www.opena.tv/forum161/
- or a direct download links for the CFE bootloader: https://www.opena.tv/bootloader/down...ootloader.html
Alternatively, maybe you have some "special" version of the set-top box like as fake product from the China ? :-)
Or your box is damaged. I really don't know what that means. It should work in your case.
Only for some set-top boxes, it is necessary to use a "force" file, as these set-top boxes (for example: Vu+ Solo SE V2) do not contain any external buttons to trigger the flash process. Therefore they need this "force" file.
The display of my receiver shows on boot that the loader version 4.30 has been installed.
I also have a file with the version you mention, so maybe I'll install it in my free time.
Thanks :) .
