DM900 display panel icons transparency
I've been using icons wich have a transparency background. They look great on screen, but it looks like the LCD display won't take the transparency layer into account, displaying a white background instead.
Is the LCD display capable of handling 32bits icons ? if not, is it possible to set the LCD display default icon backgound to black somewhere ? Or any color of my choosing for that matter.
I know one solution would be to dowload a new set of icons with a black background, but i'm trying to avoid that.
Thank You

If you use the plugin PiconsUpdater, download the transparent picons again.
In the second step, do not optimize the picons !
Then you have transparent picons with no white background in the display.

ThemenstarterThanks for the reply, i've tried piconsUpdater, but for some reason, the picons download stops before getting them all and stays stuck. The downloaded icons remaines trapped in the tmp folder before they can be transfered to usr/share/enigma2/picons :
tmp/piconsupdater/bgs
tmp/piconsupdater/fgs
tmp/piconsupdater/picons-all
tmp/piconsupdater/bgs
tmp/piconsupdater/preview
Anyway, is it possible to place a default background somewhere to avoid having to deal with the default white backgound on transparent icons ?
Regards

The picons from piconsupdater without optimization after download are working here correct.Grüßle

Box 1:Vu+ Zero 4KBox 2:Vu+ Solo SE V2Box 3:Formuer F4-TURBOLCD panel needs a special PNG format ? Common picons for channels are not sufficient ? PNG images are not converted automatically for use on LCD panels ?
