    Vu+ Duo 4k image 6.3 pixelation

I installed the new openatv6.3 image and every so often I see pixelation appearing on the tv...

I have the octagon 4k and the vu duo 4k site by side on two tvs... The pixelation only happens on the duo 4k...

    Has anyone experienced this problem?

Might also help to say where or how the pixelation occurs, such as specific transponders and/or channels. Also, Octagon has more than 1 4K receiver.

Sorry... Let me elaborate a little better...

I have the sf4008 receiver and the vu duo 4k ... I installed the following images on the vu: purE2, openatv 6.2, openatv 6.3, openpli, vti and they all behave the same...

There is a pixelation that happens every so often in the image but the audio stays intact... Almost as if a bird went infront of the lnb...

The octagon never had this issue... I know this because I play booth on the same channel at the same time on different monitors....

I thought that this issue could be related to the tunner... But I installed the tbs-5925 on purE2 and openatv and the same issue appears...

My next step is to try the stock image 3.0 and black hole and see if the issues are there...

I will also try to make a video and post on YouTube... I'm just surprised that nobody is having these problems... Which makes me believe I might have a bad unit...

Any thoughts or ideas what this could be?

    See post #2.
If nothing else, swap HDMI cables between the two receivers and see if the problem follows the cable.
Upgrading to a high quality HDMI cable may also help.

Maybe your reception cable it's with some issue. Do you already swapped it? when it happens try to swap the octagon reception cable with Vu.

I came from a SF4008 to a VU Duo 4K and realized the vu tuner it's more sensitive then SF4008 tuner

I would aks in the home-forum of the box, for the error is also with the "Major Image" for the VU. If it's a driver or E2 issue, they can help best.

I had more time to look into to this ... and looks like it is a driver problem ...

I installed the latest BlackHole image 3.0.8.c and the pixelation is gone ... now the receiver is working perfectly ...

The only problem is that I can't use OpenATV image ... both the 6.2 and 6.3 pixelates on this receiver...

Most people probably when see this thinks that there is a issue with the signal ... but it is not normal to happen here and there every single day ...

How can i copy the drivers from BlackHole and install on the openATV image?

Please OpenATV Team ... try to fix the drivers for the Vu Duo 4K ... Blackhole Image works...
