Stream to Media Portal or other apps suggestions?
I can certainly use the webif to watch channels on my pc through VLC.
I have installed Media Portal on my pc and when I try to access the tuner in TV-Server Configuration to scan the tuners on a Zgemma, I get no signal or scans.
Using a Silicon Dust HD Homerun IP box I see and can scan the tuner in it.
If not able to do the same with openatv 6.2, how would I go about it using another program?
Is there a driver or plugin I need to download to do this?
I see references to a BDA driver in the MP TV-Server program. Is this needed in openatv to get the tuners recognized?

Thank you e2world. Of course with Deutsch language I could not understand the video.
This is hopefully what I would like to get using the satellite tuner in Media Portal on my pc.
Can it be done?

Through OpenWebif on any desktop PC, it is possible to generate and download a complete list of all user channels or just one satellite channel - depending on where you click in OpenWebif.
If you click the TV symbol in the userbouquet, the entire channel list is downloaded as a m3u playlist. If you click on a particular channel (ie the TV symbol icon), then the m3u playlist for one particular channel is downloaded.
The downloaded m3u playlist contains stream links to your set top box (port 8001). You can easily open the playlist on the desktop PC via VLC-player and start watching your channels.
All done.
