Vu+ Uno 4k // Flow control not available (driver or hardware?)

It appears Flow Control is not enabled on the Ethernet interface of my Vu+ Uno 4k, running latest OpenATV 6.3.

    Code:
    root@vuuno4k:~# ethtool eth0

    root@vuuno4k:~#
The other end of the connection (the switch) supports flow control and is enabled.

For comparison, here is an extract from a different log file I found somewhere on this forum for a Vu+ Solo 4k:
    Code:
    <6>[ 12.483903] f0b00000.etherne:01: Broadcom BCM7439 (2) PHY revision: 0x10, patch: 1
<6>[ 12.493406] bcmgenet f0b00000.ethernet: configuring instance for internal PHY
    <6>[ 12.500660] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
    <6>[   15.693192] bcmgenet f0b00000.ethernet eth0: Link is Up - 1Gbps/Full - flow control rx/tx <============ CORRECT <==============
    <6>[ 15.701441] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
Lacking flow control leads to congestion in the local network, as the other end of the connection sometimes cannot keep up with the transmission rate of the Vu+ Uno 4k (check the "Retr" column - it should be 0 or close to it).
    Code:

Is this a driver issue or a setting I am missing somewhere?
    Code:

    root@vuuno4k:~#

All devices are connected via cable to the same switch. I have already tested the cables and the switch, so they aren't the cause.

See the reported "message level" and its content at the end.
Your driver is missing some informations in the definition of the message level. So less information is given to E2.

There you go. Now for the million dollar question - how do I update that driver?
I took a look at the loaded modules and it doesn't seem to be loaded as such; consequently, a new kernel (with the right kernel / options built in) might be required.

No. You didn't get it. The driver is loaded. But it is built by the manufacturer to be quiet, and don't tell the feature infos.
