Whtere to put Satellite.xml in OpenATV 6.1 DM7080? I have problems to watch 27,5W in my DM7080, but not in DM900uhd. Signal level in DM7900uhd is 65%, in DM7080 0%.

Yes, bur I have treid this, but found nothing wrong. The constillation with switches works fine with another Dreambox. And it is only one of forur sat positions that not work. I havealso tried Merlin etc. Same result.

I have tried with another S2-tuner eith no result. Also a cople of diffrent images, Open ATV old and new, Merlin, NewNigma etc. But all the same resujlt. When connecting to my DM900uhd and also Vu+Duo2 there is no problem. It is something in my DM7080.... I am getting rather tired of this DM7080. Never had so many problems with any DM-box. I have had them all (almost) since the DM700.

Today I have moved my disk to 30W and no problem to get signal and picture on Cubavision.

But, when turning back into 27,5W there is no signal - zero.

I have tried the same with my DM8000 and same result. With Bm900uhd and Vu+Duo2 it works fine on both.

I give it up, but very strange. I use the same satellites.xml.

I wrote this before, you have an incorrectly configured tuner in the new set top box. Because the dish is rotated properly and everything works with your previous set top box.

In my opinion, the problem is between: DM7080 vs. DiSEqC switch vs. OpenATV firmware. DiSEqC simply does not always work on every device, so it needs to be tested and configured to work. DiSEqC is a complicated thing.

What exactly do you use ? Do you use set top box with multiple antennas ? Please write something about your DiSEqC switch - model, brand, type ... how many outputs, how many ports. What type of LNB converter(s) do you use ? Did you check the tuner settings correctly in OpenATV MENU ?

You can try to replace coaxial cables between first and second tuners in your DM7080 + tuner reconfiguration in OpenATV. Find out if any tuner is damaged.

It is the same box, DiSEqC switch, koaxail cable, but just another satellite, 30W, and working perfect, I am wondering why i does not work on 27,5W.

When connecting the cable to my DM900 or VU+Duo2, there is no problem. My DM900 is running OprnATV 6.1 and Vu+Duo2 OpenPLi 6.1. I have also tried another tuner in my DM7080, same bad result. Also same with my DM8000 with OpenPLi 6.1.

So i give it all up! There are other problems in life to put the focus on.....

I think you have a polarized port A / B (DiseqC configuration). Therefore, if you turn the antenna on another satellite, the signal is discovered. You also do not write what exactly means "signal". Do you mean a signal of the random transponder ? Or do you write about a specific tuned channel that can be tuned according to your provider (see the broadcast picture + the sound from the satellite channel) ?
