My Technomate 2600 appears to be tracking an arc slightly East of where it should be. The mounting pole is 100% vertical in all directions, but the signal on Astra 28.2E increases if the dish is flexed down, and increases on Hispasat 30W if the dish is flexed upwards.

I'm using USLAS setup on an Amiko Alien 2+, which is running the Open ATV 6.1 latest Nightly Build, and an 80cm twin LNB dish. I've programmed the correct Lat/Long settings for my position into the Alien, and also the correct the motor Elevation Angle and dish Declination Angle for my location

I've tried sending the dish to 0° with GoTo 0 on the Alien, then I've reset the Technomate motor, then I've sent the dish to Thor 0.8°W with the Alien, and the signal peaks perfectly there. But it appears to be tracking an arc a little to the East

It seems that I need to move the motor assembly slightly West around the pole, but if I do that the USLAS dish positions are wrong in the Alien . I have played around with the Positioner settings in OpenATV 6.1 because it seems to me that if I could shift back all the Satellite positions slightly to compensate for rotating motor/dish assembly on the pole, then this might sort it out. I haven't been able to get this to work though.

Whilst writing this it occurs to me to try resetting the motor drive again, but not with it at 0°, but instead with the motor at a few degrees West. I don't know if this possible or the best thing to do though.

Hopefully I'm missing something , and any help would be appreciated, Cheers Andy
