This rtl8153 chipset adapter should be compatible with the rtl8150 chipset drivers: RTL8153 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
However, I doubt you will be able to install it. Try and see. If you already have one, why don't you try it in OpenATV ? :-P
Code:root@formuler3ip:~# opkg list | grep rtl815 kernel-module-rtl8150-4.10.6 - 4.10.6-.5 - rtl8150 kernel module rtl8150 kernel module; rtl8150 based usb-ethernet driver

Box 1:Vu+ Zero 4KBox 2:Vu+ Solo SE V2Box 3:Formuer F4-TURBOThe "lsusb" command displays the connected USB device (device ID). That means nothing.
Does it need to be activated in the OpenATV GUI-MENU ? Why do you use Shell for these purposes ? However, this should also work through the Plugin MENU installation and then through the Network Management menu. The functionality is ideally verified by setting up the USB NIC adapter and then activating it - ideally through the GUI MENU in Enigma.
I am not a computer networker so I can not help. Nor did I ever need to install a USB NIC in the Enigma, so I have no experience in this regard.
Example: networking - How to set up an usb/ethernet interface in Linux? - Unix & Linux Stack Exchange
