problem with remote control typing

Hello
I need to type using my remote control...but i cant ....
I am talking when installing any plugin that request a user name and password.i can not do it using remote control...the only way is ti use open webif and type from there...
I am waiting your help.thanks

I AM ASKING MYSELF IF THERE IS SOMEONE OVER HERE WHO CAN HELP ME......I DOWNLOADED OPENATV 5.1 FOR MY DUO 2.....BUT THERE IS A BUG FOR TYPING......
WHEN I WENT BACK TO DOWNLOAD SAME IMAGE 5.1 FOR VU SOLO......I COULD NOT FIND IT.....I TRIED ALL INTERNET....BUT I GOT THIS MESSAGE:
