Buying DM920 in this time

Hallo guys

Short question

Should i buy DM920 in this time or better to wait for something else or i should buy another model or Brand.

my goal is i like to play with Enigma2 also like to use IPTV ( all types : m3u STB .... ) to watch TV but through Enigma2 boxes not through adroid boxes.

To play and learn with Enigma, this Box is too expensive....

You did not give a real Information. So i have removed the Prefix.
You did not give any information about oATV, but request help for bying a new DM920.
So i have moved your question to this place.
The most Topics here are in german, but the answers here give a little hint, where - or for which boxes - you can go. The DM920 is a real good box, but quite expensive, and fully supported only by DreamOS, not OE-A images. OE-A images like oATV are running on those Dreams, but not with all features. Try to find out, if thats enough for YOU. I like my DM900, but only to have a second FBC-Tuner for DVB-C in the box, i would not make an upgrade. But i also have enough boxes covering all receiptions, that do not need to do that. If the DM900 would be my only receiver, i would have upgraded as soon the DVB-C FBC for the DM9x0 had been available. I don't use HbbTV or some other DMonly things. If so, i would have to use DreamOS, and have E2 with all features for DM9x0.
Also read the special Topics for Dreamboxes, especially the newer Dream ONE or TWO.
Just to stay on E2, you could choose a cheaper box, that is better covered / supported by OE-A images.

I have a dm920 and it work good with e2iPlayer and e2m3u2bouquet plugin but with hdf image but no kodi there !!

My point is, should I go in this direction or are there other better options at this time.
I do not care about any type or factory or brand. I want something fast with beautiful picture and without Big mistakes and problems.
and the updates and support are continuous for the longest possible period, not for one year or two only,
i prefer to buy an expensive device with good quality and used for a long period than to buy a cheap device with low quality and without support after a short time.

So is there a long future for DM920 or any other device.
I think this is the right question i should ask.

no mate, its not for learn or test.
i need a good device for long time.
i already own DM7020HD v2 since 2014 till today but i need an upgrade for the next five years.
